I was reading this post on Tom Brevoort's blog about fan reactions (and Secret Wars!), but this was in the comments:

I for one, have stopped all my comics, wont buy the new Iron man movie I was waiting for, wont play any of the iniative in my MUA [Marvel Ultimate Alliance] game. I am sure you will look at the numbers and smile. But I look at you like I look at Tony Stark now. Your a sucess, but whats that smell.
