We were disappointed to learn that our animated Tick season two was missing an episode. Scanning the internet, there appear to be creative rights issues for this episode and the missing episode in the first season, but no one seems to know exactly what the issue is. Someone pointed out that both episodes were written by the same guy, who has written no other episodes in the first two seasons. But i wonder if it's actually due to a dispute with Marvel. The episode from the first season was a Mole Man parody, and the one missing from season two is the (great) Galactus parody. Since parody is usually protected from copyright issues, it seems unlikely, but i hope that my favorite comic book company isn't keeping me from getting at some of my favorite cartoons.
