Random Lyrics Thursday

We haven't done anything really Satanic in a while...

Overkill by Overkill

Riding the wind on a stormy night
Rides a mother's son to take your life.
They say he died ten years ago
But the list of victims seems to grow.
Like father like son, the Bible read
Three sixes brand the top of his head
Never heard, seen then too late,
Overkill, seals your fate!!!

Driven by the host of hell
Wicked smile cross, the showing skull.
The victim dies no fucking loss
Overkill, buries the cross
That scarlet sin the soul is weary
Genre et morte, mal vivire
The fallen angel open the cell,
Overkill's victim enters Hell!

Who can tell me who I am
Am I Overkill each death a sin.
Questions linger as I walk the path
I am Overkill, the Devil's wrath!

So when you walk alone, in the night
And your bones are chilled, skin so tight!
Beware the sound of a galloping horse
Overkill has another corpse...

Ride high, ride tall
Overkill will never fall
Full moon, sharp sword
Satan is your Lord
Midnight, dark sky
Overkill will never die
Blood bath, die fast
Overkill the Devil's wrath!!!

Snowstorm Leads to Increased Membership on Adultery Site

IllicitEncounters.com, which provides a platform for married people to conduct affairs, said on Wednesday it has seen an unexpected increase in visitors over the past 24 hours, and received a record number of new profiles on Wednesday morning.

The website said most new members are registering from areas worst hit by this week's extreme weather, including Hampshire, Berkshire, and the West Country, and the site has taken on several temporary staff members to cope with the rush.

...

"Perhaps these wives and husbands have just been waiting for a time when they could join, away from the eyes of their work colleagues and, most importantly, their partners..."

I don't get that last bit. I mean if the storm was as bad as they make it out to be, presumably a decent number of people were snowed in with their respective spouses, no? And really, signing up for an adultery site on your home computer? That seems like such a bad idea.

FYI, using your bank card from your joint account to sign up with one of those online dating services -- also not a good idea. *ahem*

And I Thought I Hated the Holidays

Fnord and i were plotting an imaginary vacation to get out of spending the holidays with our families, but even we didn't consider jail though faced with 12 hours of agonizing boredom with my relatives.

A Sicilian man stole sweets and a packet of chewing gum so he could get arrested and spend New Year's Eve in a jail cell rather than be with his wife and relatives, Italian media reported on Friday.

The 35-year old Sicilian first showed up at a police station on Thursday asking to be arrested because he preferred spending the night in prison rather than with his family, but was rebuffed because he had not committed a crime, the Agi news agency said.

The man immediately went to a tobacco shop next door, where he threatened the owner with a box cutter as he grabbed a few sweets and a packet of gum. He then waited until police arrived to arrest him for robbery, the news agency said.

Non-Human Persons

Link:

Dolphins have been declared the world's second most intelligent creatures after humans, with scientists suggesting they are so bright that they should be treated as "non-human persons".

Studies into dolphin behaviour have highlighted how similar their communications are to those of humans and that they are brighter than chimpanzees. These have been backed up by anatomical research showing that dolphin brains have many key features associated with high intelligence.

The researchers argue that their work shows it is morally unacceptable to keep such intelligent animals in amusement parks or to kill them for food or by accident when fishing. Some 300,000 whales, dolphins and porpoises die in this way each year.

It's not a new concept. Corporations are already non-human persons.

Duck Penis Revisited

I'm concerned that the lack of comments on this post means that you all missed seeing it there under the Modok Christmas post. We wouldn't want that, now would we?

Some good news, for a change

And an acknowledgment that Obama's administration hasn't been falling flat everywhere.
