Are you ready, Wanyas?

The Dead Milkmen's Bucky Fellini came out in 1987. Talk Talk's* The The's Mind Bomb came out in 1989.

But the AMG Review for Bucky Fellini says:

Bucky Fellini begins with a parody of the bandmember introductions from Sweet's "Ballroom Blitz" and raises another fun and funny stink.

So there you go. They're both parodies, but neither of the other.

Still, "Are you ready, Jesus? Uh-uh. Buddha? Yeah...? Mohammed? Ok..." is pretty classic.

(In investigating Ballroom Blitz i found that i was familiar with it due to the fact that i had an album by the pretty awful hard rock band Krokus in which they covered the song.)

*I friggin' did it again!

The original version of Ballroom Blitz is quite possibly the greatest, campiest song ever performed, have you heard it?
