In the wake of Hurricane Sandy and dealing with the "horror" of running out of charge on our cell phones, i thought these Magicsticks by Powerrocks were pretty kewl. I can definitely think of one or two people i could gift these to.

i've seen some reviews of people complaining how it doesn't charge their phones all the way. how much you want to bet they were using their phones while trying to charge them? as if attaching your phone to a battery with a limited capacity was going to work the same way as when it's plugged into a socket with unlimited power.

if you're traveling and have no way to charge your phone, i think even getting it from 10% to 60% is a huge benefit.
