Review/plot:
Along with Hulk #330, which was published the same month, this marks the Marvel universe debut of Todd McFarlane.

It begins with Daredevil already having cracked the Case of the Counterfeit Santa.

We're next introduced to some goofball called the Trixter...

...and Daredevil later gets into a fight with him.

Daredevil also seems to be leading his kid fanclub down a very dangerous path.

All i can tell you for sure is that everyone in this issue is sad about something and also a little bit unstable. Trixter is sad i guess because he's not loved as a performer as much as he should be. Daredevil is sad because he's Daredevil. All his little Bratpack friends are sad because they have no family that loves them on Christmas. Karen's junkie friend Hilda is sad because her boyfriend left her and she's a junkie. Karen, abandoned by Matt while he meditates after his fight with Trixter, is just happy to draw comfort from the repetition of setting up some religious Christmas decorations.

It's a depressing book full of disorienting Nocentisms.

Quality Rating: C

Historical Significance Rating: 1

Chronological Placement Considerations: This takes place during Christmas, for what it's worth. The MCP places Daredevil's appearances in Gang War between this issue and #242.
