Review/plot:
Bambos Georgiou was an editor (and inker) for Marvel UK. Interesting to see him writing here. Maybe it was his "Test Run". (He did ink a previous Shang-Chi story for Marvel Comics Presents, but that's less noteworthy.) Perhaps relatedly, there were a whole bunch of Nick Fury stories at the end of the Marvel Comics Presents run, all by different creative teams. There was also a Fury one-shot in 1994 and then a Fury of SHIELD miniseries in 1995. Maybe Marvel wanted to revive the Nick Fury series after the last one was canceled in 1993 and turned all of the rejected try-outs into other stories? Or maybe just the absence of an ongoing series made room for people to do one-offs. Probably the latter, because most of these stories don't feel like pitches. They feel like filler.
Nick Fury and Dum Dum Dugan observe a test run of a new mech suit called the Symbionic Weapon Suit - Mark Two.
The suit overheats and goes haywire during the test, so Fury has to fight it personally.
He wins!

- Fury complains about the paperwork he has to do after his trip to the middle east and the equipment he destroyed there in Marvel Comics Presents #159. Which was two Nick Fury stories ago, but i guess that paperwork piles up.
