Marvel Team-Up #30Issue(s): Marvel Team-Up #30 Review/plot: One of them turns out to be her cousin, clearly drugged. While Spider-Man goes to investigate, Grant calls "a friend of a freind", Sam Wilson, who happens to be the Falcon. The two heroes meet up at a disco, and for once they don't have the prerequisite Misunderstanding Fight, instead getting right down to the business of beating up thugs. Here's a pretty cheesy panel. They find out that the culprit who has been drugging kids is from the Merriwell family. The Merriwells are apparently "the original bleeding heart liberals" and Spider-Man is shocked to think that they might actually be drugging young kids and forcing them into crime. It turns out to be the younger brother, who felt that the older brother was being used and tricked by charities. He dresses himself up as Midas the Golden Man but he has no powers and Spidey and the Falcon make short work of him. Midas is surprisingly underrepresented in this comic. This is about the clearest shot you get of him in costume. Quality Rating: C Chronological Placement Considerations: There's nothing going on here that dictates placement for either character. When Glory calls Sam, he first wonders if it may be Captain America calling, but that doesn't really indicate anything specific. References:
