Review/plot:
Unlike the male Dire Wraiths, when females take on human shapes, they do so by injecting their tongue into their victims brain, killing them.

A group of Wraiths descend upon Clairton, the setting for much of this series to date, and massacre nearly the entire town.

When ROM and Starshine show up, they are ambushed.

Meanwhile, a group of Skrull saucers land on the outskirts of town...

The past few issues - a revamp to the Skrulls, wiping out Clairton - seem to be a deliberate attempt at creating a new, darker direction for this book.
