Review/plot:
Splice and Rampage go after the Crazy 8. The Crazy 8 try to fight them off with their weird powers, but Alex gets stabbed.

So her daughter Jamie sends her dream self to contact Wonder Man, who is still out filming his movie.

After taking care of Splice and Rampage, Wonder Man is faced with Lotus Newmark's Armed Response goons while carrying Alex to the hospital. But he intimidates them into not attacking.

Observing all of this from afar, Lotus declares herself "finished" and says that all that is left to consider is her survival. She tells her assistant Andrew that he'll have to take the blame for everything and he reluctantly agrees.

I guess this is payoff for some long running plots in this book, but i find myself not really caring. Another shake-up for the book is coming up next and/but it'll be cancelled with issue #29.
