My first choice is a strong consumer agency. My second choice is no agency at all and plenty of blood and teeth left
on the floor.

In the meantime, you can check if there are any new blog posts about comics.
Some great external comic resources:
Marvel Chronology Project - Lists every appearance of every comic character in in-continuity chronological order. Only problem is it is per character, so it's not a direct help if you want to put all your comics in chronological order. Although what kind of twisted fool would want to do that?
Marvel Comics Reprints Site Lists marvel reprint books and what they reprinted. Great both for when you want to buy some classic stories for cheap, and also for when you've picked up some reprint book that doesn't bother to tell you what it is reprinting.
Unofficial Handbook of Marvel Creators Tells you who wrote what and who drew what. Find all the comics by your favorite writer! Also pretty good about giving story arc information.
Marvel Comics Database - Wikipedia style site that has descriptions and pictures of all characters
X-Axis - Paul O'Brien's site. Weekly comic reviews, Marvel focused, mostly X-Books. Best comic reviewer on the web. Also has an Index section that contains plot descriptions, continuity analysis, and reviews of nearly every X-Men book.
