• Sir Gyles remembers he was on an island with the Motley Crew. Marduke Kurious helpfully provides a giant sea turtle to swim them there.
• The island tries to kill them a lot. It's very good at what it does.
• Kurtis runs off on his own and finds a different path full of traps and poisons.
• Adarra has a chat with the island and gets it to calm down.
• They find the Motley Crew (and Vain) in some ruins. They're unconscious and full of gross tubes full of black goo.
• Kurtis tries to cut them loose, but a strange man in futuristic armor comes out of the sea and teleports the Crew away.
• Marduke Kurious says this Thule character went into the past. He sends the Too back to follow.
• They manage to fight off Thule, but they're too late. The Motley Crew have been drained in order to create Vain!
