    The Politburo

    The Politburo was one of the top bands in the unsigned, unpublished living room circuit. The group burst onto the scene in the summer of 2005 and blew away the competition with its variety of instrumental styles, including psychedelic jams, surf music, celtic folk, heavy metal, and straight ahead rock.

    The band consisted of guitarist Wayne Bass, bassist Adam "Dr. Rocktopus" Wolfson, electronic drummer Priscilla Lee, and industry veteran Rod Brady on guitar and keyboard.

    While never fulfilling its full potential, it left behind a legacy of awesome cuts. Rod and Priscilla rose from the band's ashes to form Lead Singer Syndrome, bringing some of the band's songs along with them.

    Not sure what's geekier, the fact that I felt the need to look up Mos Eisley before actually listening to the song, or that you covered the cantina song. Brilliant choice. The originals ain't bad either. Keep it coming. Someday, I would like to see you play the Szichuan Garden.
