One more state has signed on to the agreement to bypass the Electoral College and go with the popular vote. Unfortunately, NJ is not that state.

While I think this is a good idea (the end of the electoral college), is it constitutional to do it this way?

Or, did I mis-read it, and this is the first step in actually changing the Constitution, and not the state just saying, 'we're not gonna use it anymore.' ?

if enough states sign on, then it can be changed. they can't just decide to not use it.
