« We Are Dancing In The Square | Main | Random Lyrics Thursday » Stupider Than An American - AlmostMy lovely sister sent this to me today. Thousands of Japanese have been swindled in a scam in which they were sold Australian and British sheep and told they were poodles. Let's just say, for argument's sake, that you have no clue what a sheep looks like. How do you not know what a dog is supposed to look like? And that it doesn't have hooves?! I say "almost" because i think the stupid things we've done and believed over time has accumulated and far surpasses even this idiocy. Let's not forget the cashier who accepted a $200 bill with Bush's face on it. Or, WMD. Now, that's a good one. Update: By min | April 26, 2007, 11:36 AM | Ummm... Other? CommentsThe scam was uncovered when Japanese moviestar Maiko Kawamaki went on a talk-show and wondered why her new pet would not bark or eat dog food. She was crestfallen when told it was a sheep. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAHAHAAAAA!!!!HAAAA... HAAaaa!! Oh god, its starting to hurt.... Hahahahaaaa.... wonder if any of the sheep have a black star on their back. those would be huge sellers in japan. In case you were wondering: "Watashi no inu wa tabenaishi, kawaunai." or in English: "My dog will not bark or eat." http://www.snopes.com/critters/lurkers/poodlesheep.asp not so much with the true we suspected that to be the case. but.... It was all just a baaaaa-d case of mistaken identity. |
