« Stan Lee Circa 1964 | Main | Another Entry to the List of Things You Shouldn't Do » Is that a personal phone call?MoveOn is running a drive to buy calling cards for US troops so they can call their families during the holidays (and if you want to contribute, click here) but whenever i see these efforts, not just from MoveOn, it makes me wonder something that i've never seen anyone else wonder online: WHY THE @#*$! DO OUR TROOPS HAVE TO FOOT THE BILL FOR A @#$^!! CALL HOME WHEN THEY ARE ON DUTY? We have the largest military budget in the world, in absolute and per capita terms, and we can't spare enough money to give each soldier a $15 calling card during the holidays? Does that seem insane to anyone else? By fnord12 | December 20, 2007, 2:07 PM | Liberal Outrage |
