Instead of layoffs, seems some companies are 'forcing' their employees into 4 day work weeks and things like that. I'm officially volunteering for that to happen to me.

That happened to my friend. He's on a 4 day work week, and he's only getting paid 80% of his salary.

Unfortunately there's that whole 20% cut in pay thing, which would force people to get part time jobs to supplement their income. Except that part time jobs are hard to get these days.

I don't remember who said it, but "Workingest state in the union!" seems appropriate here.
