Digital Review Warning
You most likely found this page clicking from an entry that i have reviewed using a digital-only copy.
Before the days of Marvel Unlimited, there were a number of discs put out by a company called GIT which contained most of Marvel's core books in PDF format. The titles were:
The discs included all issues through the year 2006.
Beginning with 1994 for my project, i gave up trying to fill in my collection and began just reviewing what i already had. But i do own all these PDFs, and sometimes i will do a review directly from them. These reviews will generally be much sparser than what i'd do for a comic i own a physical copy of. I am basically scrolling through the PDF, reading the comic for the first time, and doing a quick plot summary and maybe some basic - possibly ill-informed - observations. It's much more likely for my review to be incomplete or have mistakes. Hence this warning.
In terms of when i choose to cover issues that i have in this format: i will sometimes do it when i know that an issue was important or interesting. There are also times when i am stuck somewhere with a computer and have nothing better to do, so i use the time to add to my project. Right now the plan is to skip issues that are part of crossovers where i don't have the other parts, and that includes basically all of Amazing Spider-Man during the era due to the Clone Saga (but if i run out of other things, i may go back and do the scattered crossover parts as well).
