Amazing Spider-Man #209Issue(s): Amazing Spider-Man #209 Review/plot: ![]() ![]() Despite a lot of build-up, Spidey takes care of Kraven in just a few pages. ![]() Peter's relationship with Debra is overall an interesting subplot, but at times it gets a little heavy handed. In this issue, Debra is talking about her uncle getting threatened by thugs and she wonders if Peter, through his connections with the Globe, could help. He immediately cuts her off and tells her "No chance, Deb! Sorry!" and then tells her he's just too busy with school and work to bother. ![]() The Globe has hired Rupert Dockery to help boost circulation. ![]() He's a sleazy Rupert Murdoch stand-in (i think), who has been antagonizing Spider-Woman in her book. Spider-Woman shows up briefly to provide some thought-bubble exposition and hope that Spider-Man has better luck with him. ![]() A decent story with decent art. Quality Rating: B- Chronological Placement Considerations: The MCP places Spider-Woman's cameo between Spider-Woman #30-31. References:
