Amazing Spider-Man #264Issue(s): Amazing Spider-Man #264 Review/plot: The issue is a vaguely satirical story about Spider-Man cutting through some red tape to help a cranky old man remain at a nursing home. And Spidey also fights a guy with an experimental force-field in a football uniform. The force-field guy, Red 9, is actually a fan of Spider-Man and really just wants to have a playful contest, but he's kind of a dangerous bungler. Cute/harmless. CommentsThis story was originally announced for Peter Parker #101. Posted by: Mark Drummond | November 2, 2013 1:20 PM Its a pity this issue occurs here. In web #1 he fights the symbiote costume, so this is the first instance of Spidey wearing his black costume sewed by the black cat. In #265, he decides to wear the black one because his red one is sweaty and he acts like he just remembers that he has the black costume. It doesnt feel like he'd worn it since he broke up with the cat. I havent read this issue, is it context free? Posted by: kveto | April 16, 2016 2:42 PM It is completely context free, and in my personal chronology I have it taking place out of sequence at a later point largely for this reason. Posted by: Benway | April 16, 2016 5:59 PM that would make more sense. It seems like a fill in that would work better after #265 Posted by: kveto | April 17, 2016 1:45 AM Comments are now closed. |
