Issue(s): Amazing Spider-Man #84
Cover Date: May 70
Title: "The Kingpin strikes back!"
Credits:
Stan Lee - Writer
John Romita Sr. - Breakdowns
John Buscema - Finishes
Jim Mooney - Inker

Review/plot:
Peter tries to make things up with Gwen but has to fake a flu when she and her father ask too many questions about how they survived the truck accident from last issue.

Meanwhile the Schemer, from his "secret base" (which is a car covered in snow)...

...decides to take on the Kingpin directly. The Kingpin's wife Vanessa is not happy that her husband is getting back into crime. What's odd is that the Kingpin is supposedly out of the criminal overlord trade, which makes you wonder how the Schemer convinced his underlings that they needed to get involved in a gang war when one gang didn't even exist.

Spidey gets in the middle of the fight which actually ends when Vanessa gets a look at the Schemer's eyes and he flees.

And how many identities has Richard Fisk had over the years?

Let's see....there's the Schemer, the Supreme HYDRA, the Rose, and Blood Rose. And this is without getting into all the people who've impersonated *him* over the years.
