Review/plot:
Robbie helps Peter out by giving him a photo shoot assignment in London so that he can go and sort things out with Gwen, but he winds up getting involved in stopping terrorists from kidnapping an American delegate to England. Afraid that Gwen will put two and two together if both he and Spider-Man are seen in London at the same time, he decides to return to New York without visiting her, but then in the next issue he'll realize that it was dumb of him to sell pictures showing Spider-Man in London at the same time he was there. He should have just done things out of costume or in a different outfit (why not make a web mask, like he did in the old days?) but it's nice to see the story actually acknowledge that fact.

Spider-Man stories that don't take place in New York always feel a little odd to me. Of course, if your story is set in London, the plot has to incorporate Big Ben.

Comments

Boy, it's a good thing Peter didn't visit Gwen, he would have been in for quite a shock!
Retconning her into having the Osborn twins is one of the dumbest things Marvel has ever done.
