Review/plot:
This wraps up the Kree plot in this series. The Vision, Deathcry, Swordsman, and Magdalene arrive in Scotland to investigate a tracking station that has gone offline. It turns out to be related to a legendary Shi'ar warrior, T'Kyll Alabar, and an ancient threat called the Mephisitoid, both of whom crashed on Earth centuries ago, but are now awake.

The Mephisitoid has the ability to control people with pheremones. That includes the local villagers and the Swordsman and Magdalene, who are able to defeat the Vision. It turns out that Mephisitoid was woken up by the Kree led by Galen Kor.

T'Kyll reveals that his "legendary" battle was actually bald imperialism and the Mephisitoids weren't as evil as Shi'ar history claims. He sacrifices his life and then Deathcry kills the Mephisitoid. The Kree then leave, saying that they've gotten enough dirt on the Shi'ar to be satisfied with their mission.

As Walter notes in the comments, the Starjammer Hepzibah's people are the Mephisitoids. The females look very different from the males.

Chronological Placement Considerations: At the start of this arc, it's been less than 27 hours since the Vision's group left for Scotland because the tracking station went offline in Avengers #372. Based on that, it seems like these issues take place mostly concurrently with the past several.

The main group of Avengers don't make it to Scotland until the end of the arc.
