Review/plot:
This issue closes up the Sinsear plot, at least in the immediate sense (he's been a running subplot since issue #1). Sinsear came to our timeline to deal with Tolliver, but he also has a personal grudge against Cable. We learn through flashback that Sinsear was a New Canaanite soldier who was caught in a bomb blast (which was not launched by Cable's Askani faction). Cable and his companions (Boak and T-Blood, in case anyone is trying to keep track) came across Sinsear. Instead of putting him out of his misery, Cable called a Canaanite evac patrol to come pick him up. Sinsear would have rather died, and he blames Cable for letting him live.

Sinsear now attacks Cable at X-Force's base, teleporting him away while Cable was talking to Cannonball and Siryn. They fight.

Cable kicks the crap out of Sinsear...

...who teleports away.

After the fight, Cable looks at Sinsear's computer and learns that Tolliver is still alive, and that he was a time-traveler, which makes Cable wonder who he really is.

Comments

Note that this is cover dated November 1993 and the previous issue was dated August 1993- Marvel had to cancel issues 5 and 6 and resolicit Cable 5 two months later. And even with that the issue still came out a month after the rescheduled date. We had to wait over two months between Cable 4 and 5.
