Daredevil #246Issue(s): Daredevil #246 Review/plot: ![]() ...and winds up being a target for the mercenary Chance. Chance ultimately takes a liking to the guy and lets him live. ![]() ![]() ![]() The story might have worked better if the cab driver had a reason for getting involved, but Daredevil basically commandeers his cab and makes him chase the crooks (Daredevil's uncharacteristic decision to use a cab is quickly said to be a mistake; another contrivance) and then the cabbie decides to jump into the fight. Weird story. A scene showing the civilian side of Chance is basically a repeat from his first appearance. ![]() In fact, this issue makes me think that Christopher Priest was more heavily involved in David Michelinie's plotting when Priest was Spider-Man editor than the credits let on. CommentsI dunno about Priest being so involved with Michelinie's plots: Chance's wealthy background and high-tech suit scream Michelinie to me. This guy's an Iron Man villain. Further evidence of his Michelinie roots might be adduced from his upcoming ASM appearance. Posted by: Walter Lawson | April 10, 2014 11:01 PM Comments are now closed. |
