Cover Date: Dec 68
Title: "Brother, take my hand!"
Credits:
Stan Lee - Writer
Gene Colan - Penciler
George Klein - Inker

Review/plot:
This is just a simple issue with Daredevil helping out a guy named Willie Lincoln who was blinded in Viet Nam.

Karen Page, working at the Welfare Department, sends Lincoln to Matt Murdock but she tells him not to let Matt know that she's the one who sent him, since she's still not talking to Matt.

Daredevil helps Lincoln fight off an attack from some mobsters led by a "Biggie Benson"...

...and, as Murdock, helps Lincoln clear his name for a frame-up set up by Benson.

It's a little heavy on the "brotherhood" talk, but it's a nice issue.

One of Stan Lee's favorite stories; it's reprinted in Son of Origins of Marvel Comics as a companion piece to DD's origin story.

A classic Daredevil tale. Because, as Dan Spector noted, it's reprinted in Son of Origins, it was one of the first Daredevil stories I ever read. So, for a long time I didn't realize how awful most of the early Daredevil stories were.
