Daredevil #59Issue(s): Daredevil #59 Review/plot: ![]() Once Crime-Wave and his goons were convinced Lincoln was really blind, they let him go. Lincoln then went to Foggy Nelson, who apparently blabbed all about it to the press... ![]() ...and now Lincoln's got a price on his head. The assassin hired to kill Lincoln is called Torpedo. ![]() Daredevil puts a stop to him, and Torpedo dies when Lincoln knocks both himself and the Torpedo off a ledge. ![]() Karen Page is still not talking to Matt. Matt might have tried to patch things up with her by not being Daredevil like he promised, but that isn't even considered. This Torpedo, as he helpfully explains himself... ![]() ...is named after gangster slang meaning "assassin". He has nothing to do with the other (barely) more prominent Torpedo, and since this is his only appearance, i'm not actually listing him as a Character Appearing. I should have mentioned that this Torpedo's secret weapon is his hat. ![]() This was several years after Goldfinger, and Torpedo is no Oddjob. Posted by: Mark Drummond | January 19, 2013 5:17 PM Crime-Wave is lucky he's fighting two blind guys, because that costume blows. If Matt or Willie could see it, they'd probably collapse in laughter and embarrass poor Crime-Wave into hiding, forever. Posted by: Dan Spector | July 9, 2014 5:03 AM Comments are now closed. |
