Review/plot:
This is a pointless fight issue. Darkhawk is moody for various reasons - his disintegrating relationship with his mom and brothers, the fact that he's wasting time on the Infinity Crusade when he wants to be searching for his father, etc. - and Night Thrasher comes in blaming him for stopping Zarrko the Tomorrow Man's scheme, which prevented Night Thrasher from changing his past. They get into a fight, and soon a bunch of other heroes join in.

Just a mess of stupidity, but it provokes a rare smile from Northstar, so i guess that's worth something.

This is all happening while the heroes are en route to attacking the Goddess' planet, and they make a mess of the Quinjet they are on and then have to learn the power of cooperation to repair it.

We also see Allegra Bazin showing up at the Powell family's apartment looking for Chris (Darkhawk) but he of course isn't home.

Quality Rating: D

Historical Significance Rating: 1

Chronological Placement Considerations: This one truly takes place between issues, after the heroes leave for Paradise Omega but before Infinity Crusade #4. The characters listed are the ones that are on the same Quinjet as Darkhawk. On the opening splash panel, some outlines of characters bordering the other Quinjet can be seen, but i can't make any out. The other unbrainwashed heroes should be considered behind the scenes in any event, but for these types of events i usually try to only list the characters that are actually appearing.

References:

  • See Infinity Crusade #1 through Infintiy Crusade #3 for, like, stuff.
  • Darkhawk found out that his father might be alive in Darkhawk #29, which is also where Darkhawk prevented the New Warriors from re-writing history.

Crossover: Infinity Crusade
