Review/plot:
This issue is mainly about all of the telepaths that occupy the body of the Overmind reconciling with the fact that they have to leave their former lives behind.

Overmind is invited to remain a member of the Defenders.

Also, Hellcat and Valkyrie re-establish their friendship. Hellcat has been wary of Valkyrie since she got back her true body and has been acting more Asgardian-ish than usual...

...but by bringing Hellcat to the site where the Defenders first fought Omegatron and Valkyrie first became a member of the team, she convinces Hellcat that a part of her is still the friend that Hellcat knew.

This issue also continues the interludes with Nighthawk's former nurse Luann Bloom being taken somewhere by the Elf with a Gun from Gerber's run.

Maybe it's just me...but it sure looks like Val and Patsy are doing more than just hugging in that panel above.

(Not that there's anything wrong with that!)

The Elf really REALLY didn't need to be explained, put into some sort of lame-o resolution and least of all what they actually used it for.

Mystery. Wonder. These are the two enemies you must slay to serve "Marvel Comics".
