Doctor Strange #49Issue(s):Doctor Strange #49 Review/plot: ![]() ![]() ![]() But, apparently not satisfied, Dr. Strange makes a house call at Morgana Blessing's apartment. Blessing is the one who was able to see his astral form last issue. Strange wiped her mind of the incident, but the mindwipe didn't fully take and she calls him today to consult him for a book she's writing. ![]() But Baron Mordo attacks while he is visiting. ![]() ![]() Strange is able to temporarily defeat him... ![]() ...but he takes the form of Blessing's cat so he can try again soon (i guess i'm the only one who thinks that final caption should have said "To be cat-inued", right?). ![]() Meanwhile Clea is contacted by people from her home dimension. They want her to lead a rebellion against Umar. She refuses on the basis that the last time she tried to resist (against Dormammu) no one helped her. ![]() Excellent art - especially the mystical battles - by Rogers/Austin. ![]() ![]() ![]() Claremont gave him an origin, but it's under Roger Stern's second run that Wong actually starts to develop a personality. He's developing an attraction for Sara Wolfe. ![]() Quality Rating: B Chronological Placement Considerations: The MCP places this between Defenders #105-106. References:
