Fantastic Four #192Issue(s): Fantastic Four #192 Review/plot: ...and his friend Rebecca Rainbow, also a race car driver. You'd think Johnny calling her "Pocahontas" would get some kind of reaction, but apparently not. There's no footnote about Rebecca Rainbow, but according to the Marvel Index, she also appeared in Marvel Two-In-One #8. I don't know why that was decided; there's a generic native american woman in that story but she's not named and doesn't exhibit any race car abilities or anything like that. The race is interrupted by an attack by the (ugh!) Texas Twister. After a long fight... ...and some help from Wyatt... ..the Twister calls things off. He's got a mysterious employer, but we don't learn who they are or why they wanted the Human Torch. We'll later learn that it was SHIELD, in an attempt to recruit Johnny. The other major news is that Reed Richards, who had been struggling to find something to do with himself, is offered a job at "Cynthian Associates". Quality Rating: C Chronological Placement Considerations: Pushed forward a bit in time to allow for the Thing's appearances in Marvel Two-In-One #37-41. References:

Posted by: David Banes | January 13, 2014 4:51 AM Question: wasn't the Twister training with the shield super agents at this time? Doesnt make a lot of sense for him to be out in the desert with no explanation, Posted by: kveto | February 27, 2016 12:53 PM It will turn out that the Twister was an agent of SHIELD at the time of this issue. He will claim that he was trying to recruit the Torch into the Super-Agents with this attack. So it actually does make sense for him to be here after we see him training with the Super-Agents. He could really appear here before or after the Cap story, but since this story had to be pushed forward in publication time to line up with some Marvel Two-In-Ones, in my placement it works out that he's here after we see him in Cap.
