Review/plot:
SHIELD asks the Fantastic Four (with Frankie) to investigate a strange energy reading in Wakanda. It's said that SHIELD has no authority in Wakanda, and the Black Panther "has evidently relinquished his status as an Avenger", so SHIELD came to FF due to their ties with the Black Panther. That and they wanted to question them on the relocation of the Inhumans' city from last issue.

The FF make contact with the Black Panther...

...and head to the source, which turns out to be a city inside a volcano...

...run by an ancient Roman soldier made immortal by alien technology that gives him reality-altering powers.

Always fun stories with great art by Byrne.

Know it's odd, but almost think its weird that she had T'challa alone as a reason for modesty...but she included Ben too? thought he was "family"

I have to think that the comment now by T'Challa (and previously by Quicksilver) about Ben's "changed appearance" is realllllly stretching it. It's quite obviously The Thing, just less 'granite' looking.

I never thought of Sue as sexy before Byrne started drawing her. I'd chop it up to the increasing sexiness of Marvel characters through time (e.g. Rogue, Psylocke), but it's really just that Byrne draws a sexier Sue than any other artist.

Well, until the mullet.

Wouldn't the FF recognoze T'Challa without the mask? I'm pretty sure they met him maskless before.

Indeed, T'Challa's first appearance had him unmasking to the FF.

The panel of the Thing covering his eyes when Sue says that she's invisibly naked cracks me up.
