Fantastic Four #99

Issue(s): Fantastic Four #99
Cover Date: Jun 70
Title: "The Torch goes wild!"
Credits:
Stan Lee - Writer
Jack Kirby - Penciler
Joe Sinnott - Inker

Review/plot:
The Human Torch heads to Attilan to attack the Inhumans in order to get Crystal back. This ruins the Thing's vacation plans.

On his way there, the Torch takes refuge in a cave in the Himalyas and runs into an Inhuman Yeti.

He then takes on the entire Inhuman family before the rest of the FF arrive to stop him. It turns out that Black Bolt was sick and Crystal was needed to use her powers to keep Black Bolt alive until Gorgon could return with medicine.

Quality Rating: C+

Historical Significance Rating: 2

Chronological Placement Considerations: For what it's worth, the Fantastic Four appear in Marvel: The Lost Generation #7 and help a lost-in-time Cassandra Locke during this issue. Due to a chrono-warp or whatever, they immediately forget meeting her so it's not too important. The Yeti that appears in this issue is the one that appears in that series as well.
