Ghost Rider #46Issue(s): Ghost Rider #46 Review/plot: ![]() Ghost Rider's skull is missing, and Caretaker has tasked Vengeance to find it so that Ghost Rider can be given a proper funeral. The trail leads Vengeance to a skull-collecting monster. ![]() ![]() Vengeance impales the creature and begins looking through his collection. ![]() But Caretaker shows up to say that the skull is really with Stacy Dolan. ![]() In a response to a letter complaining about the number of crossovers that this book has had, it's promised that this is "the last". "[W]e have story lines planned for the next few years that will switch the focus to the type of dark, gritty human stories that originally were told in this series". Well, that doesn't sound like much of an improvement, but i'll take it. Statement of Ownership Total Paid Circulation: Average of Past 12 months = 322,642. Single issue closest to filing date = 269,400. Quality Rating: C- Chronological Placement Considerations: This is the epilogue to Siege of Darkness. I'm keeping it with the rest of the crossover although it doesn't necessarily have to follow directly. References: N/A Crossover: N/A Continuity Insert? N My Reprint: N/A Inbound References (1): showCharacters Appearing: Caretaker, Doris Ketch, Ghost Rider (Danny Ketch), Noble Kale, Rak, Stacy Dolan, Thomas Dolan, Vengeance CommentsI'm astonished by those sales figures, especially compared to, say, Silver Surfer. This was still a pretty hot book, even though it's been gibberish for 20 issues or so. That stuff about Zarathos being a wizard doesn't stick, does it?
