Giant-Size Man-Thing #5 (Howard the Duck)Issue(s): Giant-Size Man-Thing #5 (Howard the Duck story only) Review/plot: ...they release him from jail so they don't have to deal with him. Then Howard battles a vampire cow (sired by Dracula himself). I must be getting sucked in to Gerber's style of wacky humor - there's a scene at the end of the story with Howard standing over the cow's corpse yelling to the police that he's stopped the farm killer that made me laugh out loud. Posted by: Walter Lawson | April 23, 2013 9:12 PM The title (and character) would make for a great Roger Corman production. Or a TV movie on SyFy. One can just hear it now: "From the team that brought you the SHARKNADO franchise comes the newest name in terror: HELLCOW!" Posted by: Brian Coffey | September 26, 2017 11:53 AM Marvel should have kept Hellcow around long enough to have her encounter Quincy Harker's band of vampire hunters. Maybe even give Saint the spotlight and a break from those boring skull sessions Harker and Co. were prone to. Vampire cow versus vampire-hunting German shepherd. How could you go wrong with that?:-) Posted by: Brian Coffey | September 26, 2017 12:01 PM Comments are now closed. |
