Green Goblin #12Issue(s): Green Goblin #12 Review/plot: (That sequence with the copier is hilarious.) After that, Phil does try to fight a Sentinel. It doesn't go so well. Phil takes his costume off, and that convinces the Sentinel that he's no longer a threat. While he's hiding, he thinks through his history (see References) and also wonders why Scarlet Spider recently emerged and then disappeared (obviously he doesn't know that he's now Spider-Man). This is also another case (after the flashback in Fantastic Four #413) where a book is showing Daredevil in his original costume. It's weird thing to happen once, let alone twice, and i wonder if there was a plan to put DD back in his original costume (after the weird Venetian blinds version) and it didn't get communicated out that that wasn't happening anymore. Phil eventually talks himself into taking up the fight again. The Sentinel didn't talk at all earlier, but now it's really chatty and doesn't sound at all like a Sentinel to me. At least have it say "this unit" instead of "I". Handling of the Sentinel aside, this book is still pretty good and it's another thing i would prioritize if i were to do a back issue add. It's canceled after next issue, though. Quality Rating: C+ Chronological Placement Considerations: This is an Impact 2 book. It's said that there are rumors that the FF, Avengers, and X-Men are gathering at Four Freedoms Plaza, placing this after X-Men #55. Daredevil is twice said to be fighting Sentinels in Hell's Kitchen; this is also just a "rumor" but if anyone says DD skipped out on Onslaught you can point them to this. The MCP lists Daredevil and Steel Serpent and Darkhawk (but not any New Warriors) as behind-the-scenes but since it's all coming from rumors or unconfirmed news reports i haven't listen them as characters appearing (it would have been cool to actually see them). Same is true of two Daily Bugle reporters - Charlie Snow and Ken Ellis - who J. Jonah Jameson simply says are in the area somewhere. References:
