Howard the Duck #24

Issue(s): Howard the Duck #24
Cover Date: May 78
Title: "The night after you save the universe"
Credits:
Steve Gerber - Writer
Gene Colan - Penciler
Tom Palmer - Inker

Review/plot:
Howard's questing buddies say goodbye and take off...

...leaving Howard alone in New York with nothing to do. He wanders around the city for a while before heading off to meet Paul and Winda, who return from their cruise.

Talk about a downtime issue! Not nearly as good as it should have been, either.

Quality Rating: C+

Historical Significance Rating: 1

Chronological Placement Considerations: This has been pushed back in time relative to the publish date in order to give the Man-Thing enough time to get home and get captured, so that he can be found by Peter Parker in the circus in Marvel Team-Up #68.
