Hulk #102Issue(s): Hulk #102 Review/plot: Of corse he doesn't, and she gets mad, but Banner then turns back into Hulk. Bizarrely, the Executioner recognizes the Hulk. This is based on the fact that the Hulk traveled to the future in Tales To Astonish #77 and fought (what i thought was) a future version of the Executioner. Meanwhile the Warriors Three travel to the Oracle Oldaar to hear more about the Hulk creature they encountered. What follows is a way of introducing the Hulk to any new readers who are picking up the book now that Tales To Astonish has been renamed Hulk, as she describes the Hulk's origin and history to the Warriors. The Executioner doesn't have much luck in his rematch with the Hulk, and he and the Enchantress give up on fighting him, instead abandoning him as they lead their troll army to an assault on Asgard. The Hulk helps the Asgardians defeat the troll army, but mistakes Odin's attempts to heal him for an attack. Before Odin can retaliate, the Warriors Three intervene, explaining that the Hulk isn't really all there, mentally. In his rage, Odin mistakenly calls Fandral "Balder", but agrees not to kill the Hulk. Instead he sends him back to earth. Quality Rating: C+ Chronological Placement Considerations: Continues directly from Tales To Astonish #101, which takes place during the depowered Thor saga.
