Review/plot:
Bruce Banner continues to adjust to being in control of the Hulk.

Betty and Bereet try to find help for a gamma-poisoned Rick Jones.

And the build-up to the showdown with the U-Foes continues.

The fact that the status quo in the Hulk has been so dramatically shaken up makes up for the bad writing.

Quality Rating: C+

Historical Significance Rating: 1

Chronological Placement Considerations: Due to his involvement in the Defenders as "dumb Hulk" his Banner-brain appearances in his solo series have been compressed a bit.

Comments

What a difference Joe Sinnott makes over Sal Buscema’s already-strong pencils. He really is a superb inker—his slick, professional style instantly says “Marvel” to me.
