Hulk #444Issue(s): Hulk #444 Review/plot: ...and fight choreography that, uh, sucks. Jeph Loeb in the Cable issue at least did a little with the idea that the Hulk's form is fluid and how that might affect Hulk being controlled by one telepath while fighting another. This story goes the more traditional route of putting Cable on the Astral plane so that he can punch symbolic things. There's also some questionable stuff about Storm using electricity to give Banner's mind a reboot, like a computer, to wipe Onslaught's influence. As for the Janis plot that started last issue, that's basically been put on hold. But a flashback shows that the Hulk stashed her in a Pantheon safehouse for storage during the crossover, and later she's discovered by Ajax. This issue's lettercol has some people complaining that the Hulk/Superman fight from Marvel vs. DC was cheap and short. Quality Rating: C- Chronological Placement Considerations: This is a direct continuation from Cable #34. It's an Onslaught Impact 1 book. References:
