Review/plot:
The Spymaster makes another assassination attempt on Tony Stark, but this time Iron Man is ready for him and the Spymaster is duped into killing the Tony Stark LMD that has been floating around in this series instead.
Then, Iron Man and the Spymaster get into a fight, with the Spymaster's weaponry proving to be more advanced than Iron Man suspected (although nothing defeats Iron Man's rollerskates).
Eventually IM does win though, and finds that Spymaster was after data on Stark International's shareholders. The audience finds out that the Spymaster was hired by SHIELD, but Tony doesn't know it yet.
Also this issue, in a flashback taking place directly after the Count Nefaria fight from last issue, Stark is evicted from his apartment. He then goes to a social event at an embassy and meets Bethany Cabe.
Right now we don't learn much about Bethany but she will go on to be a major supporting character. We're also starting to see the beginnings of Tony Stark's problems with alcohol as we see him need to grab some champagne to get through the boring party.
Quality Rating: B-
Historical Significance Rating: 5 - first Bethany Cabe, early beginnings of the Demon In A Bottle saga.

The title refers to the James Bond book/film "The Spy Who Loved Me".
I realize it was the 70's, but you would figure a multi-millionaire would have more attractive drapes.
That Fernwood flasher line is a pretty obscure, dated reference to late 70's cult comedy show Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman.
I will never live in the 70s but the new X-Men, to me, really seemed to capture a fell for the 70s. Certainly the clothing at least and Peter Dinkage awesome mustache.
Is it worth noting the office marked "S. Lang" in the first panel of your second scan?
