Review/plot:
This is a simple, mostly downtime issue that deals with Stark's PR Director, Artie Pithins, having a problem dealing with his son.

The kid was beaten up at school, and it's part of a pattern. But it turns out that his son was actually dealing drugs. The kids that were beating people up were part of a vigilante group but they were taking things too far.

Pithins actually deals with the problems on his own. Iron Man is busy trying to stop a runaway tank that was on school grounds as part of a Career Day event.

Quality Rating: B

Historical Significance Rating: 1

Chronological Placement Considerations: N/A

References:

  • The damage from Whiplash's attack on the Stark compound in Iron Man #146-147 is nearly fully repaired.
  • Tony has been "hitting the party circuit pretty hard" ever since he broke up with Bethany Cabe in Iron Man #153. That actually jibes with the scene from Avengers #212 that shows him waking up in a new woman's apartment.
