Review/plot:
Digital review warning.
I don't know why, but i find this cover hilarious.
This is a downtime Demon in a Bottle redux issue. Possibly interesting for how negatively Howard Stark is depicted in the flashbacks.
We also get a glimpse of one of Wonder Man's movies.
After doing some reminiscing at an AA meeting, Tony goes home where Bethany Cabe shows up to support him. They almost kiss, but both decide that they've "been there, done that" and know how it ends, so they just remain friends.

Historical Significance Rating: 1
Chronological Placement Considerations: Pushed this back in publication time just a bit since the next arc takes place after Captain America #437.

- The turning point for Stark's alcoholism was when he made a mistake while drunk as Iron Man in Iron Man #128 (the real Demon in a Bottle storyline).
- "Months" later, Stark fell off the wagon again, resulting in the Obadiah Stane takeover in Iron Man #173 (no footnote for this one).
- Stark fell off the wagon again "a week ago" in Iron Man #308.
- In a flashback with Stark trying to explain how he was under the influence of Vor/Tex while he was forced into drinking again, Rhodey says there's no need to worry that it sounds weird and unbelievable. After all, he once fought a guy named Termite in Iron Man #189.
- Stark thanks Happy for returning to be his driver after what happened with Ultimo in Iron Man #298-300.
- Wonder Man gave his life twice, once in Avengers #9 and once in Force Works #1.
