Review/plot:
Digital review warning.

Teen Tony is doing some recon and confirms that there are still Sentinels everywhere. He returns to Giant-Man and Quicksilver, and they're joined by Black Panther. The Sentinels cause a flood in the sewers where the heroes are hiding. Pym fights a Sentinel...

...while the Panther leads the others to a secret tunnel that leads to the Wakandan embassy. It's implied that the tunnel is illegal.

Teen Tony tells Black Panther about the Psi-Amor that they've been working on ("supposedly conceived by Xavier himself") and asks if the Panther can suggests any improvements to it. The Panther reveals a huge stockpile of Vibranium in the embassy. It's said that Reed Richards will now be able to duplicate the armor, and the Panther decides to relocate his embassy staff to Four Freedoms Plaza.

Meanwhile, Pym is taken down by the Sentinels but is rescued by Quicksilver. Sentinels attack the Wakandan embassy as well, but Teen Tony holds them off (depicted with some unimpressive artwork).

As he's leaving, the Panther says that Teen Tony is Tony Stark "in all the ways that ever counted".

It's always amusing when i reads a crossover tie-in out of order and see the characters struggling like hell to accomplish some task that i know doesn't make a bit of difference to the overall event. It's not the fault of Terry Kavanagh, who at least tried to find something for these characters to do. It would have been nice if the main Onslaught story actually showed the psi-armor having an effect, and even nicer if the idea that the Vibranium in the armor was the reason why.

It's also worth noting that nothing here really indicates that this is the end of the Iron Man book. Black Panther's comments about Teen Tony might sort-of serve, but they're really about establishing that the teen version is a legitimate instance of Tony Stark (and we all know that he isn't). And other than that, this is generic crossover filler. A sad end to Iron Man's original series.

Quality Rating: D+

Historical Significance Rating: 1

Chronological Placement Considerations: This is an Impact 2 issue. The MCP have this between Teen Tony's appearances in Hulk #445 and Avengers #402, but since Hulk #445 takes place semi-concurrently with Avengers #402, i've placed this first (basically, it's all taking place around the same time).
