Review/plot:
While flying around in Holland, Iron Man's armor is overridden and he is forced to fly to a distant mountain range (Rhodey isn't sure if it's the Alps or the Himalayas).

When he arrives at a (very Kirby) hidden city...

...he's taken captive by the Deviants.

He soon regains control of his armor and is able to prevent the Deviants from destroying the Eternals...

...who had been placed in suspended animation.

The Deviants had been converting them into energy for Brother Tode to consume.

When it's all over, Thena begins to make a pitch to the Eternals that, based on snippets she saw in her unconscious father's mind, they should all head out into space, but it's not concluded in this issue.

It's a decent story. Iron Man is kind of an incidental player, though.

It's not explicitly said in this issue, but Zuras is killed in this story (an explosion and the revival of Iron Man distract from the fact that Zuras is still killed). And the Deviants shown here, excepting Kro but including Brother Tode, essentially are killed as well between this story and the next Eternals appearance.

Quality Rating: B
