Review/plot:
Another bizarro Marvel monster story.

An American scientist in Transylvania investigates earthquakes and a strange wall finds a talking hill.

The hill, Spragg, comes from space. He started off as one among a race of space spores that got trapped on Earth when the sun "exploded".

Spragg has the power of hypnosis, and uses it to force the local villagers to build a dynamo that will increase his power. But the American scientist is protected from the hypnotism thanks to a metal hat, and he sabotages the dynamo, somehow converting it instead into a platform that causes Spragg to be launched into space.

I was inclined to enjoy this due to the fact that John Byrne brought this guy back during his She-Hulk run, and the original story here did not disappoint.

i think it's a travesty that you didn't mention the adventures of the Lee family. that alone should give it a historical significance of 5.

But the American scientist is protected from the hypnotism thanks to a metal hat

So a tinfoil hat literally saves the day here?
