Ka-Zar the Savage #8Issue(s): Ka-Zar the Savage #8 Review/plot: ![]() ![]() They're attacked by a robot and eventually rescued by Dherk, who now has a physical android body. ![]() ![]() The robot was his assistant that went a little haywire. It was also building Dherk an android version of Shanna. Awkward! ![]() We get a little history of Dherk's Atlantis... ![]() ...and the description of the cataclysm that put it underwater doesn't sound at all like the version from the Tales of Atlantis back-up in Sub-Mariner #62, where it was due to an attack by the Lemurians. ![]() It's said that Pangea was basically a resort or theme park created by the Atlanteans, using the Savage Land as a game refuge and stock area, and also for genetic experiments. The theme park idea is a bit on the silly side, but it's otherwise an interesting idea. As always, great dialogue and nice art. CommentsFantastic Four 316 and Amazing Spider-Man Annual 23 try to reconcile all the different accounts of what happened to Atlantis into one. Basically the Celestials attacked the Deviants at the same time Kamuu unleashed the lava. Posted by: Michael | January 22, 2012 4:50 PM Comments are now closed. |
