Review/plot:
Ka-Zar and Zabu help a young boy fight off some pteranodons...
...and then accompany him back to his brother's camp. His brother is on a quest to defeat a sea monster - a tylosaurus - that scarred him as a child.
Others in the camp allow the brother to die in order to take over the tribe. Ka-Zar agrees to help the boy avenge his brother's death.

This is one of Alfredo Alcala's first efforts at Marvel. He had previously done a lot of mystery and war stories at DC and was probably the most popular of the Phillippine artists to show up during the 1970s(though Marvel usually wouldn't let them on the superhero titles). Comic publishers tended to use the Phillippine artists on lower-selling titles because the exchange rate for art was rather cheap. B&W magazine publishers like Warren and Skywald used Spanish art studios for the same purpose.
