Review/plot:
Cloak and Dagger are out doing their normal crimefighting when they run into Mr. Jip, who they thought was dead.

But after getting hit with Dagger's light, "Mr. Jip" briefly turns into Dagger's uncle, Father Bowen.

Cloak swallows "Jip", but Dagger says that she can sense that it really is her uncle, so she asks Cloak to release him.

Dagger blasts Father Bowen with all of her light powers, again turning him human. He says that before Jip died, he cast a spell on him to make him transform into the Jip-like creature and go out and terrorize people. Dagger says that he's never actually hurt anyone. And i guess he's cured now.

The art is atrocious and the story comes out of nowhere (how long has Father Bowen been in the hospital recovering from his injuries?) but at least this story plays off of past Cloak & Dagger continuity.

Art like this makes me want to vomit.

Marvel in the 90s, hiring random passersby on the street to draw the books.
I drew better comics in ballpoint pen in my spiral notebooks in elementary school.

I look at the standard of some of these MCP stories, and I feel better about my friends and I self-publishing our own little comic.
