Review/plot:
The Black Panther is on the trail of some people who have invaded a "restricted area" in the "jungle". They seem to be kidnappers.

But when the Black Panther attacks, there is confusion.

The person they were expecting is Sabretooth.

But Sabretooth is really an LMD.

Wowowowowow. What?!

I'll note that this story is plotted and fully drawn by one person, but scripted by someone else. Maybe Don Hillsman intended something else. But it's really weird to see Black Panther kicking the head off a robot Sabretooth and then staring triumphantly at the camera while the people responsible for the robot that attacked him stand free in the background. I'll also note that this story is very unspecific about where it is taking place. Did SHIELD come to Wakanda uninvited? Was Black Panther just wandering through some other part of Africa and he just randomly stumbled upon all of this? We'll never know.

Comments

There was a Dave DeVries who did a lot of (pretty good) painted work for Marvel cards in the mid nineties. I'm guessing this is the same guy?
